Regulations
Yellow flag
Indicates a danger on the track, drivers must slow down and not overtake.
Red flag
Indicates the stop of the race, drivers must return to the pits.
Green flag
Indicates that the track is clear and that the race can start/continue.
Blue flag
Shown to a driver who is about to be 'lapped' (having been caught by faster cars ahead of them and so falling a full lap behind).
White flag
Presence on the track of a slow moving vehicle or an intervention vehicle. Overtaking remains authorized.
Chequered flag
Indicates the end of the race.
Black and white flag
Indicates a warning for unsporting behavior.
Black flag
Indicates that a driver is disqualified from the race, they must return to the pits.
Yellow and red flag
Indicates a decrease in grip on the track.
Orange circle flag
Warning of dangerous mechanical problem on the vehicle of the driver concerned, he must return to his pit.
